The name arrived before the explanation did. That felt correct.
Moondog Mechanica is not quite a studio, not quite a persona, more like a vibrating string. Depending on the frequency, it becomes a photograph, a story, a broken system with interesting output or a dog doing something inexplicable. Possibly all of them. Possibly none until you look.
Still becoming. Hopefully creating.
Moondog Mechanica is the workshop where those projects live. Part mystic. Part mechanic. All dog.
